I’ve been studying Chinese Astrology and Feng Shui for over 25 years.
In that time, I’ve helped many people better understand themselves, their timing, the spaces they live in, and the destiny written deep within them — what I call the Heavenly Mandate.
Through these tools, I’ve always tried to rebuild a bridge between the visible and the invisible. To restore meaning, direction, and harmony. Then, a few years ago, a new question emerged inside me — one that opened a door to a different dimension:
Can Chinese Astrology also help us understand our animals?
What began as a simple question — a curiosity — soon turned into a revelation.
Because the answer was yes.
Not only can it do that — it does, every single day.
With the same precision and depth that has guided humans for thousands of years in understanding their nature.
(In the book, I explain how I adapted this ancient language to make it readable within the animal realm, while still respecting its original structure and their uniqueness.)
I’ve always lived with dogs and cats. I’ve walked with them through joy and illness, through silence and love.
But it wasn’t until I started looking at their birth dates through the lens of the Five Elements, Twelve Archetypes and their Polarity (Yin and Yang) that everything began to align.
Behaviors made sense. Traits became clear. Misunderstandings melted away as if Astrology could open a window onto their inner world.
One ordinary afternoon in a veterinary waiting room, I met a woman struggling with her powerful, restless dog. Trainers hadn’t helped. She felt lost.
When she told me her dog was born in January 2022, I knew he was a Yang Water Tiger. I described his nature — bold, emotional, intuitive, and impulsive without grounding.
She stared at me, then whispered,
“That’s exactly him…”
In that moment, I knew this book had to exist — not as theory, but as a bridge. A guide to improve the lives of animals and their humans I was in the waiting room, just an ordinary day.
Next to me sat a woman with a magnificent dog — a large black wolf, with an intense gaze and a body constantly on alert.
We started talking.
She told me, with a mix of love and concern, how difficult it was to manage him — always agitated, impulsive, sometimes unmanageable.
She had already consulted several trainers, but nothing seemed to really work.
Gently, I asked when he was born.
“August 2022,” she replied.
I did a quick calculation — he was born in the year of the Yang Water Tiger.
I had a draft of the 240 Profiles I was working on in my laptop, but it was enough. I just described her dog:
“A tidal force in motion — bold, brave, and deeply emotional.
He carries the burning passion of the Tiger and the fluid intelligence of Yang Water, making him wild at heart and intuitive at the same time.
He loves movement, challenge, and emotional sincerity. But without grounding, he may act on impulse or retreat into dark moods.
With trust and structure, though, he becomes a loyal protector with an oceanic depth of love.”
She went silent. Her gaze froze, then she began to nod slowly — as if someone had finally put into words what she herself had never been able to explain.
“That’s exactly him…” she whispered.
In that moment, I knew the book I had begun had to be completed. It had to be published.
It was no longer just a personal project, it had become a necessary guide to improve the lives of animals and their humans. A bridge to build. A language to share alike.
Anyone who lives with a dog or cat knows:
Language is only one of many ways we communicate.
Sometimes all it takes is a look, a gesture, a subtle vibration.
And yet — how often do we misunderstand them?
How often do we project our emotions, our emptiness, our expectations onto them?
Understanding their energetic structure — their Element, their Archetype, their Yin or Yang Polarity — can become a way to truly know them.
To respect their uniqueness.
To guide them without dimming their light.
Chinese Astrology gives us an alphabet. A symbolic code — yet precise.
Through this code, we can decipher what often escapes us.
We can give a name to the bond we share.
We can learn to listen — even in silence.
The Celestial Companion is not a classical manual on astrology, nor a theoretical essay.
It’s a book to keep close, a book to read with your heart.
It contains 240 energetic profiles born from the fusion of the 12 Zodiac Animals, the 5 Elements, and the two polarities — Yin and Yang — applied to dogs and cats.
For each combination, you’ll find a description that is deep, poetic, and concrete, as well as a short suggestion: how to support your Celestial Companion, how to help them, how not to betray their true nature — and their message for you.
If even a part of these words resonates with you —
then yes, this book is for you.
